The Shipyard heavy utilizes its CNC shop. CNC machines, or computer numerically controlled machines, are mechanisms that are able to create an output product with the use of a computer generated design file; in this case, plate shaping. Consisting of 3 plasma and 3 oxy + plasma machines, the shop has a high average daily output capacity of over 30 tons, with a maximum cutting thickness of 150mm
